Sport Coaching Styles

i think that it is vital to manage all these different coaching styles at appropriate times. All these styles are different and they need to be used correctly. Autocratic shows a strict coach who makes all the decisions and is in total control, this situation would best be used in a situation like when organizing and managing just before the activity takes place. Democratic shows someone who is very relaxed and when it comes to making decisions will include player input and feedback a good situation to use this is when you begin to introduce new rules or are selecting the teams. Laisse Faire is similar to democratic but the coach is more relaxed and seems not to care all that often this type of style would be best for when the end of the training session has concluded and you just feel like having a bit of fun afterwards.

Sport Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is that when it comes to playing a particular sport it does not matter what the outcome is, just as-long as everyone gets in and has a go. Wining and loosing is not important to me when it comes to coaching, the important thing is that everyone participating in the chosen sport is having fun and enjoying themselves. Being able to accept winning and loosing and being able to play by the rules shows great sportsmanship.
